How to Change the Layout by Using Templates
Recipe: Click on "Settings" from the "Site" line of the tool box; find the item for Template in the "Site Display" block. The current setting is shown above this link. Click on "Change" to get into the template editing page. Pick a template from the "Template:" drop down list. Click on "Change Template" will save the change.
Explain: Even with the same text and image, your page can be displayed in a number of ways. The template is a pre-defined way of putting different part of page in certain places in the page. These templates are designed by EasierWeb and provided to you to enhance the presentation of the page. Once the template is selected, the all site is displayed this one. In other words, all pages in a web site displayed in a consistent way.
How to Change the Color of the Page
Recipe: Click on "Settings" from the "Site" line of the tool box; find the item for Theme in the "Site Display" block. The current setting is shown above this link. Click on "Change" to get into the theme editing page. Pick a theme from the "theme:" drop down list. Click on either "Select" to pick a theme as is, or "Customize" to make customized changes.
Explain: Once the template is selected, your site will have a default theme that goes with it. You don't have to do anything if the default color on the template is OK to you. But sometimes you would feel that you need to change the color on some part of the page. The reason can be that you want to distinguish your site with others by having a different set of color, since the default template is shared by EasierWeb customers' sites.
The customization allows you to change the color on the foreground (the font color) and the background of the Header, Page, Menu, Box and Footer. It also allows you to change the height of the line to increase the space between lines in the page text and the box text. The type of fonts for these texts can be changed too. These changes are usually good enough to make your site unique. If think this is not good enough, you might need to change the template altogether; that will definitely gives you a different look on your own web site.
